Terms of Use
Effective date: 3 August 2026 · Last updated: 3 August 2026
These Terms of Use govern how you may use the Pico application and this website (together, the “Service”), operated by PLAN WITH PICO PTY LTD. They sit alongside our Terms & Conditions, which cover accounts, the free trial, subscription and billing. Where the two documents overlap, the Terms & Conditions prevail.
1. Licence to use the Service
We grant you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable licence to use the Service for planning meals for your own household. This licence does not include any right to use the Service commercially, to build a competing product, or to make its content available to others.
2. Prohibited conduct
When using the Service, you must not:
- Break any applicable law, or infringe anyone's rights.
- Copy, scrape, mirror, index or bulk-export recipes, images, price data or other content.
- Resell, sublicense, rent or commercially exploit the Service or its output.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble or attempt to derive our source code or internal systems.
- Use bots, crawlers or automated scripts against the Service, or attempt to circumvent rate limits, paywalls or entitlement checks.
- Probe, scan or test the vulnerability of our systems, or bypass authentication or security.
- Introduce malware, or interfere with the Service's operation or other users' access.
- Impersonate another person, or submit another individual's personal details without consent.
- Remove or obscure any copyright, trademark or other proprietary notice.
3. Accounts and shared use
Your account is for you and the household you cook for. Do not share credentials publicly or use them to give unrelated parties access to paid features.
4. Third-party links and services
The Service may link or hand off to third-party websites and apps, including supermarket sites such as Coles, Woolworths and Aldi, and to the Apple App Store. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability, pricing, product data, delivery, or their privacy and terms — which will apply to you separately once you leave Pico. Any transaction you make with a supermarket or other third party is between you and them.
5. Generated content
Meal plans, recipes and estimates are generated automatically and may occasionally be inaccurate, incomplete or unsuitable for your circumstances. Use your own judgement, check ingredient labels — especially for allergens — and follow safe food handling and cooking practices. Nutrition and health information is general in nature and is not medical advice.
6. No warranty
The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranty that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that content, price estimates or product matches will be accurate or current. Consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law continue to apply.
7. Availability and changes
We may add, change, suspend or withdraw features at any time, and may perform maintenance that temporarily interrupts access. We will try to give notice of significant planned changes.
8. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms of Use or if your use poses a risk to the Service or other users. You may stop using the Service at any time and close your account by contacting support. On termination, your licence ends immediately; clauses relating to prohibited conduct, intellectual property, disclaimers and liability survive.
